Power out: Please follow the below steps:

Check if there is a power cut in your area by calling Scottish power on 105

If you have a prepaid meter check if you have credit available.

Check you’re fuse board and check for tripped switches. All switches should be up. If a switch is down and you cannot flip up, please report this issue to us at 0131 653 3337 or email us at enquiries@tsg-letting.com.

If unable to resolve and out of our working hours you can call 07759106870 and inform them you are a tenant of TSG Letting.
For other emergencies such as;

Locked out
During hours contact our office to opening hours to arrange a replacement set. This will cost £24 incl VAT for a new set.

Burst pipe or leak
In the event of a significant leak or burst pipe, please locate your water stopcock and turn it off. If you are unable to do so, please contact the below and inform them you are a tenant on behalf of TSG Letting: 07742842064
If there is a leak coming from a neighbour, please try and reach them initially to inform them and contact us at 0131 653 3337 or email@tsg-letting.com

Please note, if the issue is not viewed as an emergency you will be liable for the cost of the call out.
Payment terms: For out of hours call outs you may be required to pay the contractor directly in some cases and provide a receipt for the landlord to re-imburse the cost.

As a tenant, you are expected to maintain the property well and carry out small maintenance issues yourself, as per your tenancy agreement. You must ensure the property is kept clean and tidy and are responsible for:

Cleaning of drains and windows.

Ensure bathroom seals are cleaned of mould using bleach or mould cleaner.

Ensure the property is well ventilated to avoid condensation mould.

Property is adequately heated.
-
Emptying bins.
-
Maintaining the garden.
-
Maintain appliances In the property well including emptying filters regularly.
If leaving the property empty for 14 days or more you must write to us to ensure insurance is validated and carry out additional steps to protect the property if required.
Please ensure you always leave the boiler on and during the winter months maintain heating at a low temperature or on a timer to avoid leaks.
